When we got engaged, I was given my grandmother's engagement ring. It was a nice gesture to get a ring that had been in the family for so long, but now that we have some more money, I'm looking to get a ring all of my own. I wanted to make sure that I can give my daughter my grandmother's ring one day when she gets engaged. It will be fun to go shopping for a ring now I've got the budget to get a great big diamond.
